Social vs. Traditional Entrepreneurship

Social entrepreneurship differs from traditional entrepreneurship

Social entrepreneurship combines the power of business strategies with a clear social mission, whereby profit is seen as a means to maximise positive social impact, not as the ultimate goal.

Unlike traditional businesses, social enterprises measure success not only in financial terms, but also in terms of the positive change they create for communities and the environment.

Social entrepreneurs use market-oriented approaches, but embed ethical, equitable and inclusive values in their models.

Are you a (future) social entrepreneur?

Do you want to start or grow a business that addresses social or environmental problems - and is not just focused on profit? Are you driven by a cause, but also think like an entrepreneur? Then you may already be involved in social entrepreneurship, or on your way to it.
